From what the band told me of their origin, Blake and CJ asked "known shit-starter" Dredge if he wanted to start a hardcore band. Dredge then asked his "plug" Jackson to play bass. After the band played their first few shows they asked Gavin to join after he'd learned to play all their song by ear. 

In November 2024, the band released Subaltern Spite, a neurotic and seething 4-track EP that explores navigating blackness in hardcore while being disillusioned by popular liberal approaches to  ̶b̶l̶a̶c̶k̶  liberation. The EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered by the band's bassist Jackson. Armageddon Records from Florida was able to help with a limited off-label run of tapes in time for the release show at the house venue The Heroes' Grove in Madison County, IL.

Following the release, the band started playing shows in support of local acts like Maladjust, Interpersonal, Bulletproof Monk, Fools' World, Socket, and Blight Future. The band has also supported touring acts Lacerated, LUCA, Dogs Run Free, starsdontmeananything, and Gnaw. 

The band is gearing up to release their second EP Death Token. Their sophomore effort focuses in on the 90's beatdown stylings of their first release while taking a more Cyco-melancholy turn lyrically. They're set to play their release show for it on 4/1/24 at a Denny's.
